Users losing drive mappings when another user logs out.

Invalid parameter - J:, HOMEDRIVE=I:, HOMEPATH=, RootDrive=J;, Invalid parameter - I:.

Problems with Novell Client on Microsoft Terminal Server.

fix

This issue is addressed in NWFS.SYS 02JAN2001 or later for the Novell Client 4.8 for Windows NT/2000.  This issue is addressed in NWFS.SYS 21DEC2000 for the Novell Client 4.71 for Windows NT/2000.  The NWFS.SYS 02JAN2001 and NWFS.SYS 21DEC2000 builds are available as 234860A.EXE from the Novell Support Connection file finder.  Note this files have not yet been regression tested and are available on an as-is basis.  This document will be updated as the availability or status of the files change.

Duplication Notes:

- 1st user logs in through TS session.  Gets drive mapping, F, Z from login script.
- 1st user manually maps another drive, G.  User also has a persistent drive mapping L.
- 2nd user logs in through TS session.  Gets same drive mappings, F, Z from same login script.
- 2nd user gets drive mappings F, Z from login script, and also gets a mapping G.
- 1st user logs out.  (Start / logoff)
- 2nd user loses mappings F, G, Z.
- 1st user logs in and gets drive mappings F, Z from login script.
- 2nd user gets drive mapping F, G back.
