1) Recompiling NDSm with Microsoft C++ or Borland C++.

Only available for a perl installation compiled with Borland C++ or MS VC++
First, if you have not installed perl yet you should do so and get
back to this file.
Look for perl at http://www.perl.org/
See the docs included with the perl distribution on how to compile and/or install perl.

If you want to compile NDSm yourself you'll also need the NDK found at developer.novell.com
and install it on your machine. The default path for the NDK is C:\NWSDK. If you install
in this directory you can get away by just pressing <enter> at each prompt.

When perl is in place with path to perl.exe, and path to your make (nmake or dmake) utility
is in place, it's time to run NDSm/setup.bat.
When you're asked if you want to compile NDSm yourself you just press ENTER (y), and
the script will ask you any information it needs.
From this point on you'll just have to press <ENTER> a couple of times to get NDSm installed.

2) Install NDSm binaries without compiling first.

Only available for perl versions compiled with either Borland or MS compiler, and
only for one of the two included patchlevels.
Currently these are 5.004_02 and 5.005_05.

If you want to use the precompiled versions included in the package you can
do so by running NDSm/setup.bat. A path to perl.exe is required.
Then, when asked if you want to compile NDSm yourself you just press 'n' <ENTER>.
The script will then find out what version your current perl is, and install
the NDSm binaries for that verson if it exists.

A ActiveState (PERL_OBJECT) version is NOT included precompiled. If you are going to use
a PERL_OBJECT perl you'll need to compile yourself. See 1).

3) Documentation.

If you want to install the HTML documentation you can copy the 'help' directory
and it's subdirectories to the location you want. All URL's in the
docs are made relative so you can install them anywhere you
want without breaking any links.
